| Content | Attached is a description of a series of talks I'll be giving through our faculty center at Ocean County College. Many fledgling initiatives are happening, I'll be proposing a DH course, STEM/STEAM discussions are underway, and lively talk and sharp intellectual skepticism about the digital as the Holy Grail has been underway at my colleague David Bordelon's postings to our (public) faculty union blog. I'd welcome comments here on the line up of talks as listed on the attachment, suggestions, mention of any faculty development going on at your college about DH and related fields (besides STEAM, multi-modal composition, digital texts, digital composition, etc.) I'm also going to start up a site here and see where it leads. |
