My site is here on DH@theCC because I was lucky enough to participate in the NEH-ODH seminar in 2015 for which this Commons was created. As I begin a series of talks/workshops with colleagues on my home campus about the digital humanities, I have been thinking of the term “community of practice” and how to envision it and make it happen within the particular milieu that is my college. So I thought I would create a site to report back and reflect, and where colleagues near and far may join in the conversations I’ve been having in my head (and soon with real people) about the forms DH can take and the value, personal and professional, that it has in our lives and the lives of our students.
